Rendkívüli lehetőség EUMETSAT projektrészvételre!

Mai postánkból Horvai Ferenc a Magyar Ürkutatási Iroda (HSO) szakértője írja mai levelében:
"...az ESOC-ban akar az EUMETSAT egy vezérlőtermet építeni, magyarok bevonásával (értsd: EUMETSAT-tagok számára meghirdetett lehetőségként). Erre szerveznének egy InfoDay-t. Íme a hso-honlapra megírt hír:

Hazánk ugyan az EUMETSAT műholdmeteorológiai szervezet teljes jogú tagja, aktivitásunk más közép- és kelet-európai államokéhoz hasonlóan nem kevés kívánnivalót hagy maga után. Bár a tagdíj befizetése ellenében a hazai cégek és kutatóhelyek számos kutatás-fejlesztési programban vehetnének részt (természetesen pályázati úton), addig nem hogy nyertes pályázó, de pályázó sem igen akad. Ezt az EUMETSAT is fölismerte, ezért a következő pályázati kiírásukon (ITT 12/205350 - MTG Mission Operations Facility) való indulás megkönnyítése érdekében információs napot rendeznek az ESA földi irányítóközpontjában, az ESOC-ban (Darmstadt). A március 29-én sorra kerülő egésznapos rendezvényen a pályázatok módozatával, lehetőségeivel ismerkedhetnek meg, a konkrét pályázattal, emellett egy "brainstorming" keretében a későbbi pályázati indulások megkönnyítéséről is szó lesz. A pályázati kiírás feladataiból adódóan elsősorban űripari cégek számíthatnak megrendelésre. Mivel az MTG (MeteoSat Third Generation) irányítása az ESA ESOC központjában kerül kialakításra, a projekt EUMETSAT-finanszírozású és meghirdetésű, ESA által megvalósított projektként is felfogható. A rendezvényre történő jelentkezés határideje: 2012. március 27. Regisztrálni az eumits@eumetsat.int e-mail címen lehet. Javasoljuk, minél többen képviseljék hazánkat, az űripari cégeket, szervezeteket, valamint a meteorológiával foglalkozó állami és egyetemi kutatóhelyeket! Kérjük, a jelentkezésről lehetőség szerint a MŰI-t is tájékoztassák."

Open Data Project Specialist


Trento Rise Association is looking for an Open Data Project Specialist, in support to the Business Area of Trento Rise for activities related to the so-called “Open Data Project”.


Trento Rise Association was established on 10 December 2010 by its Founding Members the University of Trento and the Bruno Kessler Foundation. Trento Rise Association seeks to contribute to the creation of a centre of excellence for research, innovation and advanced training in the field of Information and Communications Technology in the Province of Trento. In particular, the Association intends to contribute to the success of the international non-profit association “EIT ICT Labs”, in which it participates as a core partner, in order that it may become the new European system for research, innovation and advanced training in ICT. It also intends to promote integration between the various parties operating in the Province of Trento Research System (in particular, the University and Research Centres) within the ICT sector. In this regard, it promotes cooperation between the research sector and businesses aimed at transferring knowledge with a view to facilitating the internationalisation and innovation of companies and of the Province of Trento.




Duty of the post


    Manage the technology portfolio of activities related to the so-called “Open Data Project”.
    Lead internal teams and interact with business partners.
    Manage technology operating budgets.
    Prepare reports and present results as appropriate.
    Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Business Director.




Criteria for assessment


Education, experience and achievements


1) Degree and post-graduate degree (MSc, Laurea Quadriennale, Laurea Specialistica, or Laurea Magistrale) in Information Engineering, Computer Science or technical related areas.


2) Good knowledge of the Italian and international ICT market and data management, resulting from past experiences in the private sector (e.g. consulting firm, technology).


3) Experience as supervisor and responsible for medium/high complex IT projects (i.e. the level of complexity is linked to the following aspects: project area, treated business volume, managed economic and human resources, amount of providers involved, and typology of managed customers). More specifically, the above-mentioned experience shall be related to the management of the following items: commercial proposals, planning and financial progresses, resources, and activities of the software development process until the transition to production.


4) Experience in the areas of Open Data Projects:


    Open Data Service Creation
    Open Data Modelling
    Open Data Architectures
    Data mining solutions
    Web architectures and technological infrastructures


5) Experience in the Public Administration context is a plus.

Type of contract and terms of employment


We are recruiting for the following job profile: Open Data Project Specialist, on a project employment contract (co.co.pro.) – self-employment. The gross salary per annum will depend on effective skills/experience of the candidate and on market values. The hours of work are such hours as are necessary to carry out the duties of the post as arranged by the Business Director.


The post will be based at Trento Rise Association, Via Sommarive 18, 38123 Povo - Trento, Italy.

PÁLYÁZAT! Digitális Magyar Térkép 2011

                                                                                                     Országos Széchenyi Könyvtár Térképtárának otthona Kép: HUNAGI (2012)

Az alábbi PÁLYÁZATI FELHIVÁS-t tegnap kaptuk Kákonyi Gábor partnerünktől további terjesztésre. Minden tagszervezetünket, tagintézményünket de partnereinket is arra bíztatjuk, hogy minél nagyobb számban éljenek a lehetőséggel és pályázzanak minőségi digitális tárkép termékeikkel. Úgy értértesültünk, hogy a pályázat meghírdetői a beadási határidő tekintetében megértőek lesznek a néhány napot későkkel szemben is, tekintve, hogy a felhívás terjesztésében most új támogatók is beléptek.

A Felhívás pdf változatát a HUNAGI  e-Hírlevél csatolmánya is tartalmazni fogja.

"A Lázár deák Térképészeti Alapítvány és az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár Térképtára pályázatot ír ki a

„Digitális Magyar Térkép 2011”

A hagyományos kartográfiát tekintve az igazi kihívást nem a számítógépek alkalmazása jelenti, hanem a térbeli adatstruktúrák kezelését megoldó rendszerek kidolgozása, ezek teljesítőképességének gyors növekedése, valamint a térképészeti modellkészítéshez és a számítógép-orientált tematikus módszerekhez való rugalmas alkalmazkodás. Ez a folyamat a hagyományos papírtérkép mellett új térképészeti eljárásrendszert igényel, ami közvetlenül befolyásolja a térkép befogadó-képességét is.

Fel kell készítenünk a változásokra a felhasználókat, ezért egy virtuális bemutatóval fórumot kívánunk teremteni arra, hogy a jövendő lehetőségekről – amely már igencsak jelen van – a kiállítást felkereső látogatóinknak módjuk legyen ismereteket szerezni. E versennyel a fejlődés dinamikája mellett az új termékek bemutatkozására is szeretnénk lehetőséget biztosítani.

Előzetesen három kategóriát jelölünk meg, amelyre nevezni lehet: - kereskedelmi forgalomba kerülő kartográfiai CD-ROM-ok, - kereskedelmi forgalomba nem, vagy csak korlátozottan kerülő kartográfiai

CD-ROM-k. - ún. távoli elérésű térinformatikai adatbázisok. (Az előbbi két kategóriába

tartozó művekből 2-2 CD-ROM-t a kísérő dokumentációval kérünk beküldeni, míg az utóbbiból beküldendő az ingyenes hozzáférést – csak olvasói - biztosító jelszó, valamint a felhasználó tájékozódását segítő ismertető is.)

Az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár vállalja, hogy a Térképtár olvasóterméből (és csak is onnan) interneten elérhető adatbázisokba az olvasói betekinthetnek, de azokból semmiféle eszközzel adatot kinyerni nem enged.

Továbbá az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár vállalja azt is, hogy e műveket az MNB, illetve az AMICUS integrált könyvtári információs rendszeren keresztül ismertté teszi.

E kiállítással az ilyen „dokumentumokat” készítő cégek és szervezetek számára is lehetőséget szeretnénk biztosítani, hogy ne csak szakmai érdeklődők értesüljenek időről-időre a digitális kartográfia új, nagyon dinamikusan fejlődő világáról.

A beküldött darabokból rendezett kiállítás előre láthatóan 2012. március 23-tól 2012. április 28-ig lesz megtekinthető az Országos Széchényi Könyvtár VI. szinti Térképtárának olvasótermében, könyvtár nyitvatartási ideje alatt.Kérjük, hogy a pályázaton való részvételével segítse elő a magyarországi térképkultúra elmélyítését.
