HUNAGI különösen a COPERNICUS MPP fényében, még inkább bátorítja tagjait és partnereit, hogy terjesszék a felhívást akár egyetemi, munkahelyi faliujságokon,  személyes beszélgetésben, közösségi hálózaton keresztűl, honlapon vagy körlevelekben. 
A részvétel haszna:
- innovatív megoldásra ad lehetőséget földmegfigyelési/térinformatikai alkalmazásfejlesztésben
- versenyhelyzetben eleget tenni a kihívásnak, ahol csak győztesek lesznek bár ezúttal várhatóan csak hárman kapnak díjat,
-nagyteljesítményű nyíltforrású  platformon dolgozhat, amely flexibilis, nyíltforrású és kereskedelmi szoftverkörnyezetbe egyaránt beágyazható
- elemzésben, nagytömegű térinformációk megjelenítésére egyaránt alkalmas
- fejlett és széleskörű támogatás áll rendelkezésre

Idén az INSPIRE koferencián volt a díjátadás, jövőre az augusztusi brémai első európai FOSS4G konferencia ad keretet a WWEC legjobb anyagainak ismertetésére és a díjátadásra. A győztes diákcsoportok képviselői számára ezúttal is várhatóan nagyon kedvezményes részvételi és elszállásolási lehetőséget biztosítanak majd a szponzorok.
2014-ben a pályázók rendszerük működéséről amennyiben rövid videoklipet készítenek, azok az ISDE szervezet vezetőségével történt egyeztetés alapján esetleg eljutnak a Digitális Föld nagoyai csúcstalálkozójára is. Idén nem volt magyar résztvevő pedig az előkészítő műhelyen öt hazai fiatal is részt vett. Reméljük, jövőre magyar résztvevői is lesznek az európai megmérettetésnek.

The Cyberlaw Clinic is a Berkman Center project and a Harvard Law School (HLS) clinical program in which HLS students enroll for credit and provide pro bono legal services to qualifying individuals, organizations, startups, and others on legal issues relating to the Internet and technology.  The Project Coordinator will report to the Clinic’s staff attorneys and will work alongside Berkman’s growing team of project managers and project coordinators to manage the day-to-day operations of the Clinic.

Felhívás ENSZ műszaki tanácsadói munkában való részvételre

Az ENSZ SPIDER szervezetének minapi felhívása:

"Dear colleagues,

At the invitation of the Government of Ghana (National Disaster Management Organisation, NADMO) the UN-SPIDER Programme will conduct a Technical Advisory Mission (TAM) to Ghana from 25 to 29 November 2013.

UN-SPIDER is currently compiling a list of experts from the space as well as the disaster/disaster-risk management community in order to have the mission team defined by the end of September. UN-SPIDER is looking for professionals from relevant institutions, organizations, companies or universities from the field of space technology and disaster/disaster-risk management who are already collaborating or are willing to collaborate in the future with the authorities or respective institutions in Ghana.

If you are interested in joining the TAM, please send a short background, résumé or CV and a short indication of your current, planned or possible type of collaboration with Ghana to Mr Coen BUSSINK (coen.bussink@unoosa.org). The deadline for submission is 29 September 2013.

Megpályázhatóak a GSDI 15 és 16. konferenciáinak helyszínei.

A konferenciák 18 havonta kerülnek megrendezésre. Mivel a 14. konferencia idén novemberben lesz Addis Ababában, ez lehetővé teszi a szóbanforgó események időbeli tervezését.
Mindenesetre az EUROGI október 11-i végrehajtó bizottsági ülésének napirendjére tűzi  kérdést, hiszen jó alkalom kínálkozna akár az EUROGI ImaGIne konferenciájával való közös rendezvény megszervezésére európai helyszínnel.
