Subject: EUROGI POSITION PAPERS - Invitation to express interest - DEADLINE: 26/09/2014
At its last meeting the EUROGI ExCom resolved that position papers should be produced regarding GI and Geo Technologies (GT) role in relation to
- Open Data
- the Internet of Things
- Linked Data
- Urban & Regional Development and
- the promotion of SMEs in the GI/GT sector and the use of GI/GT in the wider SME sector
The position papers would be used by EUROGI in its ongoing discussions with European Union and other organisations and may be used by Members when dealing with their own national governments or other organisations.
EUROGI invites Members and/or Member’s members who wish to be involved in drafting one or more of the papers to complete the LIME survey by Friday 26 September.
It is envisaged that some members would comprise Drafting Teams and others would want only to be Observers.
Members could participate in the preparation of more than one position paper.
EUROGI looks forward to the involvement of its members in this important initiative participating in survey following the link
