Álláslehetőségek az Eurogeographics szervezetnél

(Visszatekintés: Az Eurogeographics az európai sőt az azon túli térség földmérési, térképészeti és kataszteri szolgálatainak nemzetközi testülete. A szervezethez hazánk 1991-ben csatlakozott Lengyelországgal együtt elsőként térségünkből. A CERCO (ez volt a szervezet korábbi neve) southamptoni közgyűlésen - amelyen Klaus Barwinski elnöklete alatt megszavazták felvételünket - rögtön be is jelentettük, hogy a magyar földügyi szolgálat örömmel fogadná a szervezet közgyűlését az első lehetséges alkalommal. Erre 1995-ben került sor az Új Városháza dísztermében.)
Hasznos volna, amennyiben magyar pályázó is lenne a tekintélyes és befolyásos szervezet megüresedő helyeinek betöltésére jelentkezők között! 
Az Eurogeographics ügyvezető igazgatója Dave Lovell a jövő évtől a Globális Téradat Infrastruktúra szervezet megválasztott elnöke lesz, amely szervezettel HUNAGI kezdettől fogva - 1996 óta - intézményes kapcsolatot tart fenn, a szervezet alapító tagjaként.

At its last meeting the EUROGI ExCom resolved that position papers should be produced regarding GI and Geo Technologies (GT) role in relation to

• Open Data
• the Internet of Things
• Linked Data 
• Urban & Regional Development and
• the promotion of SMEs in the GI/GT sector and the use of GI/GT in the wider SME sector  

The position papers would be used by EUROGI in its ongoing discussions with European Union and other organisations and may be used by Members when dealing with their own national governments or other organisations.

EUROGI invites Members and/or Member’s members who wish to be involved in drafting one or more of the papers to complete the LIME survey by Friday 26 September.
It is envisaged that some members would comprise Drafting Teams and others would want only to be Observers.
Members could participate in the preparation of more than one position paper.
EUROGI looks forward to the involvement of its members in this important initiative participating in survey following the link

HUNAGI ezúton is kéri tagszervezeteit és partnereit, éljenek a lehetőséggel és regisztrálják rendszereiket az EUROGI által kezelt európai SDI legjobb gyakorlat adatbázisába, melynek kiértékelésére Brüsszeli eredményhírdetéssel kerül sor. A short update from the ePSIplatform team our community members with some exciting news.

Scientific InformationAs you might have seen in the ePSIplatform news coverage, the European Commission has just opened up the online public consultation on Scientific Information. Scientific Information has so far been exempted from the PSI Directive and therefore exempted from the obligation to allow re-use.

The online consultation is your chance to voice your opinion! Do you think that scientific information should be Open, and accessible to all? Or do you think that science and scientists will be better off when their data is 'protected' data? Do you think we should distinguish between raw scientific data and scholarly articles in peer reviewed journals? Its is very important that the voice of the stakeholder community is herad in this debate so we encurage you to participüate and fill in the online public consultation!

You have the opportunity to fill out the online consultation already, but it will be open until September 9th, 2011. The consultation can be found here.

Open data portal

If you're more the entrepreneurial type, and less the academic, there is also an opportunity for you. The Commission has published a call for tenders for an Open Data Portal. The portal will hold information from the EC and european institutions and will be launched somewhere 2012. Every interested party is invited to submit a proposal through the procedure laid out in the call. Information on the call can be found here. We are very excited about this, as it clearly shows the intentions of the European Commission to become a provider of Open Data.

Tagszervezeteink, partnereink európai megjelenítési lehetősége helyi, térségi és tematikus térinformációs szolgáltatások terén

Tegnapi postánkból:

Catharina Bamps, az EUROGI főtitkára küldött körlevelet, melyben a második európai SDI megmérettetésről ad hírt. A helyi és térségi rendszerek üzemeltetői már on-line bejelentkezhetnek az európai adatbázisba. Szívesen fogadják a KKV és önkormányzatok rendszereit vagy tematikus SDI rendszereket is. A beküldőt önértékelő segédlet támogatja, melyet a címsorra kattintva lehet elérni. Az első fordulóban mintegy 130 beküldött rendszer közül 6 volt hazai. Ezek bekerültek az adatbázisba, egyikük, a KOVIR időközben visszalépett. A második fordulóban több közreadó várható, ezért legalább 10 hazai rendszer bejelentkezését reméljük. A bejelentkezés (a rendszer paramétereinek, jellemzőinek megadása segédlet felhasználásával) legalább egy órát vesz igénybe. A ráfordítás busásan megtérülhet azzal, hogy egy szolgáltatás vagy termék európai szinten ismertté válik, illetve az értékelési módszertan megismerésével a gyengeségek és erősségek felismerhetőek. HUNAGI kifejezetten kéri tagszervezeteit, tagintézményeit és partnereit, ha rendszerük a feltételeknek megfelel, azt jelentsék be a a megadott on-line kérdőív kitöltésével. Tematikus rendszereikkel is bátran jelentkezzenek (környezeti, talaj, erdészeti, geológiai). Nehogy a Duna-Tisza-köze világos folt maradjon az Európa térképen. Íme az EUROGI felhívása:
