HUNAGI ezúton is kéri tagszervezeteit és partnereit, éljenek a lehetőséggel és regisztrálják rendszereiket az EUROGI által kezelt európai SDI legjobb gyakorlat adatbázisába, melynek kiértékelésére Brüsszeli eredményhírdetéssel kerül sor. A regisztrálás egyben egy önértékelés, amely rendkívül hasznos a hazai INSPIRE felkészültségi szintünk emelése érdekében is.

GSDI bejelentette a 2012. évi Small Grants Program pályázatát földmegfigyelés témakörben

Mai postánkból. A GSDI eHírlevele közli a legújabb pályázati hírt. Eddig az MTA ÖBKI és a Cascadoss Magyarország Egyesület volt eredményes a korábbi pályázatokon. Ime a felhívás:

"The Global Spatial Data Infrastructure Association is pleased to announce its Small Grants Program for the year 2011-12.

Summary:

   Awards for spatial data infrastructure or Earth Observations Systems (EOS)-related activities in economically disadvantaged nations

   Application deadline of 31 October 2011

   2500 words maximum

Földmegfigyelés vonatkozású FP7 Space pályázati lehetőség!

Dr. Both Előd , a Magyar Űrkutatási Iroda (MÜI) igazgatója jóvoltából ez úton osztom meg figyelemfelhívását a napokban megjelent az FP7 Space fejezet új kiírásáról. A pályázati lehetőség elsősorban a GMES vonatkozásai miatt tarthat számot a HUNAGI közösségét érdeklődésére. A MŰI honlapján szereplő hírt idézve:

"Az EU 7. keretprogramjában közzétették az űrtevékenység fejezet legújabb pályázati felhívását (FP7-SPACE-2012-1). A pályázatok beadási határideje 2011. november 23. A pályázati kiírás 84 millió euróról szól. A részletes kiírás, további információk és a különböző letölthető anyagok a CORDIS rendszer weboldalán találhatók."

A short update from the ePSIplatform team our community members with some exciting news.

Scientific InformationAs you might have seen in the ePSIplatform news coverage, the European Commission has just opened up the online public consultation on Scientific Information. Scientific Information has so far been exempted from the PSI Directive and therefore exempted from the obligation to allow re-use.

The online consultation is your chance to voice your opinion! Do you think that scientific information should be Open, and accessible to all? Or do you think that science and scientists will be better off when their data is 'protected' data? Do you think we should distinguish between raw scientific data and scholarly articles in peer reviewed journals? Its is very important that the voice of the stakeholder community is herad in this debate so we encurage you to participüate and fill in the online public consultation!

You have the opportunity to fill out the online consultation already, but it will be open until September 9th, 2011. The consultation can be found here.

Open data portal

If you're more the entrepreneurial type, and less the academic, there is also an opportunity for you. The Commission has published a call for tenders for an Open Data Portal. The portal will hold information from the EC and european institutions and will be launched somewhere 2012. Every interested party is invited to submit a proposal through the procedure laid out in the call. Information on the call can be found here. We are very excited about this, as it clearly shows the intentions of the European Commission to become a provider of Open Data.
